Department of Archaeology – DOA Job Circular 2022
The Department of Archaeology (abbreviated as DOA) is a state-owned organization of Bangladesh. The organization has been operating from its headquarters in Agargaon, Dhaka since 2005. It is administered by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
The Department of Archaeology generally recovers history through the discovery of ancient cultural traces scattered in various remote areas of Bangladesh.
The department also undertakes restoration, preservation and exhibition of discovered architectural structures.
