As per Bangladesh Railway Notice 2023, the job eligibility along with other information is given below-

Name of the Post: Direct Cashier Cum-Computer Operator
Number of Vacancies: 02
Grade: 13th
Pay Scale: 11,000/- to 26,590/- BDT
Educational Qualification: (a) Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University: b) Minimum transcription speed of 70 words per minute in English and 45 words in Bengali; (c) minimum speed in computer typing 30 words per minute in English and 25 words in Bengali; (d) computer trained; and (e) Computer word processing along with e-mail, fax handling skills and experience.

Age: 18 to 30 years. However, age limit is relaxable up to 40 years in case of departmental candidates.

Application Rules

The following conditions must be followed in filling the application form and participating in the examination:

(a) Candidate’s age as on 01-03-2023 AD, must be between 18-30 years. However, in case of children of veer freedom fighters/martyred veer freedom fighters and physically challenged, the maximum relaxation is up to 32 years as per government rules. It should be noted that the age limit is 30 years for sons/daughters of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters. Affidavit is not admissible for proof of age. (In case of applying for the said post, if the age of the candidates is within the maximum age limit on 25-03-2020, then the said candidates will get an opportunity to apply).

(b) Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations must apply through appropriate authority. Employed candidates should tick the Departmental Candidate box while filling the application form subject to fulfilling all the conditions. This condition does not apply to others. However, all the serving candidates are required to submit the original copy of No Objection Clearance issued by the appointing authority at the time of oral examination.

(c) The existing rules and quota system of the Government in the matter of recruitment and any subsequent amendments in the relevant rules shall be followed.

(d) At the time of oral examination, one set of attested copies along with the original copies of all certificates should be submitted and one set of attested photocopies of the filled Application Form should be submitted. Besides, the certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor of the City Corporation as proof of permanent resident of the district, original copy of National Identity Card and if the applicant is the son or daughter of a brave freedom fighter, the applicant is the son or daughter or son or daughter of a brave freedom fighter. -Daughter must submit the original copy of the certificate of freedom fighter along with the original copy of the certificate issued by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/City Corporation Ward Councillor/Municipal Mayor/Councillor. Original copies of certificates issued by appropriate authorities in support of quota claims other than female quota should be submitted.

(e) The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts mentioned in the notification and to cancel/modify the notification.

(f) The decision of the appointing authority shall be final in all matters relating to recruitment.

(g) No TA/DA will be granted for participation in written, practical and oral examinations.

(h) Participate in the examination following the rules of hygiene at the examination center.

Conditions related to filling the application form:

(a) Candidates who wish to participate in the examination shall fill the application form on the website The application deadlines are as follows: i. Starting date and time for online application form filling and examination fee submission is March 20, 2023 at 10.00 am.

ii. The last date and time for submission of online application form is 18th April, 2023 at 04.00 pm Candidates who have received User ID within the said period within the next 72 (seventy two) hours from the time of submission of application form online.

Submit the exam fee to SSS. In the online application form, the candidate is prescribed by scanning his color photograph (length 300 width 300 pixels) and signature (length 300 × width 80 pixels).

(b) Upload to the location. Image size should be maximum 100KB and signature size should be maximum 60KB. Since the information filled in the online application form will be used in all subsequent activities, the candidate will be 100% sure about the correctness of all the information filled before submitting the application form online. Candidates shall keep a print copy of the online filled application form as an aid for any examination related purposes and submit one copy during the oral examination.

Rules for Sending SMS and Payment of Test Fee:

(3) After completing the online application form by properly filling the application form and uploading the photo and signature according to the instructions, the application preview with the photo can be seen on the computer. Candidates who have submitted the application form correctly will get an applicant copy with User ID, photograph and signature. The applicant should print or download the copy and save it. A User ID number will be given in the applicant copy and using the User ID number the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner for examination fee of 200/- (two hundred) rupees for Serial No. 1-3 and Teletalk charge 23/- (twenty three) and examination fee 100/- (one hundred) and Teletalk charge 12/- (twelve) for Serial No. (4-5) within 72 (seventy two) hours. It should be noted that “Even if all parts of the application form are submitted online, the online application form will not be accepted under any circumstances until the examination fee is submitted.”

SMS should be sent in the following manner:

First SMS: MOR<Space> User ID should be sent to 16222.

Example: MOR ABCD

Reply: Applicant’s Name, Tk 223 will be charged as application fee. Your PIN is xxxxxxxxxxxx To pay fee Type MOR <Space> User ID should be written and sent to 16222.

Second SMS: MOR <Space> YES <Space> Enter PIN and send to 16222. Example: MOR YES xxxxxxxxxx Reply: Congratulations Applicant’s Name, Payment completed successfully for MOR

Application for xxxxxxxxxx User ID is (ABCDEF) and Password (xxxxxxxxx).

Receipt of admit card will be intimated in due course through and through SMS on candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates). All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone given by the candidate in the online application form, so it is forbidden to keep the number active all the time, read the SMS and follow the received instructions immediately.

After using the User ID and Password sent in the SMS, candidates will download and print (if possible in colour) the admit card containing the information such as roll number, post name, photo, exam date, time and center name etc. Candidates must produce this admit card at the time of appearing in written test and if passed at the time of practical and oral test.

Candidates can retrieve their User ID, Serial and PIN by following the below mentioned SMS procedure only from Teletalk pre-paid mobile phone.

i. If User ID is known mor<Space>Help<Space> User ID & Send to 16222 Example: MOR HELP USER ABCDEF (Used ID number should be placed in place of ABCDEF)

ii. If PIN Number is known: mor<Space> Help<Space> PIN & Send to 16222

If there is any problem in applying online, you can contact by e-mail.

Do the online application and deposit yourself. In this case, the authority will not be responsible if the candidate is cheated by completing the said task through any other means. It is advised to fill the online application form and submit the application with sufficient time in hand without waiting for the last date and time.
